My personal and professional journeys have bestowed upon me a generalized curiosity with how the whole may or may not be greater than the sum of its parts.

My work whether in collage, drawing or photography explores this theme of dynamic tension between line, form and movement.  In my drawings you can see both the kinetic energy of multiple swirling fields and the gestalt of the piece.  My collage work incorporates language, media and global shapes and speaks to the complex relationships between minutia and the whole.

In these mediums one can see the dialectic between the separate parts existing independently and as components of a symphony.Enjoy
